Answers to frequently asked questions:
Below you will find answers to the most frequently asked questions. Of course, your question may not be included. In that case, check out our knowledge base or send us a chat message or e-mail.
1. What is the difference between the terms virtual office, virtual address, CoC / KvK postal address, CoC / KvK address and CoC / KvK registration address?
At the Chamber of Commerce (KvK) and therefore in our services, these terms are used interchangeably, which can sometimes cause confusion. A virtual office and virtual address are basically the same thing. This also applies to a business registration address and a business establishment address. These terms consist of both a visiting address and a mailing address. The visiting address is visible in the Chamber of Commerce trade register when someone looks up your business. Your mailing address is where you receive your business mail. When you purchase a KvK address from VirtueelKantoor.com, you get a full KvK business address that meets all legal requirements. As a result, your private address is protected in the trade register.
2. Can I use a virtual office if I live or will live abroad?
Yes, this is certainly possible. Many of our clients live in Belgium or Germany, for example, or are digital nomads who travel the world. With a virtual office, you can effectively manage your business and receive your mail digitally no matter where you are. This provides flexibility and convenience for business owners who operate internationally.
3. Do I need to live near my virtual office?
No, it is not necessary. It is very common that your residence and your business registration address are not close together. The Chamber of Commerce has no objection to this, and in fact it is often the case that the addresses are far apart. This is not a problem and is considered normal.
4. What exactly does your registration guarantee mean?
Our registration guarantee means that we will ensure that you can successfully register at our business address with the Chamber of Commerce. Should this fail for any reason – which has never happened before – all fees paid by you will be fully refunded. So you never run the risk of incurring costs without being able to use our services. Please note that this guarantee does not cover obtaining a valid VAT number.
